| Southern California and joined the Southern California and joined the Santa Maria Kennel Club. Skip taught obedience and served as club president. Our biggest show success was BISS CH Blizzard Of Snoline "Blizzard" out of "Sno" and CH Lady Sasha of Kazan "Sasha" , Sasha was acquired from Bob and Dolly Ward. Finishing his championship at the Samoyed Club of America at an early age, he went on to win Best in Specialty Show multiple times. The late 70's and all of the 80's were devoted to raising our four daughters in Sunny Valley, Oregon. We returned to the show ring in 1992 with a new breed, the Vizsla which is in the sporting group. Our first home bred Vizsla we showed to his championship was CH Fawnridge Apache of Benmar "Apache". "Apache" sired our second litter of Vizsla pups. Two pups went on to their championships, CH Apache Rose of Benmar "Rose" and CH Red Hawk of Benmar "Red Hawk". Our next litter produced a young champion. At the age of 8 months Benmar Flies Like An Eagle won his championship and soon after his sister Benmars Lucy In The Sky won her's. While at the many shows with the Vizslas we began admiring the different breeds. We acquired our first English Setter from the renown Set'r Ridge Kennels. As time went on it was difficult for Nancy to keep up with the big dogs due to knee surgery. championships in a quick fashion, CH Reimars Lady Stetson "Lady" and CH Reimars Ciera "Ciera" handled by Sharon Marotto of Reimar Kennels. 2001 brought us full circle with a beautiful year old Samoyed CH Holly's Frozen Tundra "TJ". Skip quickly finished "TJ" within two days of acquiring him. Currently TJ is being specialed who finished in the top 25 of Samoyeds for 2002 and was the # 9 Samoyed for 2004. |
